Our standard specifications are ASTM A416, ASTM A421, and ASTM A648, produced in various diameters. However, other strand and wire products under different specifications may be available upon request.

ASTM A416: seven-wire, uncoated steel strand used in the construction of pre-tensioned and post-tensioned prestressed concrete applications. Strand can also be supplied galvanized.

ASTM A421: uncoated stress-relieved round high-carbon steel wire commonly used for prestressed linear concrete construction. Available in both Type WA and Type BA.​

ASTM A648: hard-drawn steel wire used for manufacturing prestressed concrete pipe or other designated uses. The high-strength wire comes uncoated through a cold-drawn process for the desired mechanical properties with no welds or joints in the finished product. Available in two classes: Class II and Class III wire.

 

Packaging is provided on both wooden reels and reeless packs.
